Late John Ngu Foncha's statue erected and later destroyed in Douala

As anglophones continue to protest against the "francophonisation" of the Republic of Cameroon, it is alleged that an architect in the economic city of Douala erected a statue of the late and famous anglophone politician John Ngu Foncha. The reasons for this are not known but some Cameroonian authors blame John Ngu Foncha for the unfair treatment of anglophones today. They argue that he led a dump delegation to the 1961 Foumban Conference where most of the decisions were imposed by the Ahidjo led delegation from East Cameroon.
Through a WhatsApp group, I learned that the statue at Akwa-Douala was destroyed by policemen.
They have tried to destroy all the evidences of the true history of Cameroon. God is watching!

It's new and strange: Mr Paul Biya writes on his official Facebook page and gets unfriendly reactions.

Unlike in the past, the President of the Republic is experiencing real democracy on social media. When he posts, Cameroonians react and most often in critical ways. I was just reading through Hus recent post on Facebook and I was rather surprised to see how bold some Cameroonians can be. Check out his post and reactions in the photos below

Kengong Johnson Bang: The latest Ta Nformi in Nkambe

The president of Bang Bullet FC was on December 22, 2016 honoured with the title Ta Nformi by the Fon of Nkambe. The ceremony took place at the Nkambe Fon's  palace in the presence of football fans of Nkambe town and it's environs who had gathered to welcome the Messiah Boys from Bafoussam where they qualified for The Elite 2 Championship.
The fon who in recent years has been honouring people of outstanding qualities was certainly happy for Mr Johnson Bang has brought Division 2 football to Nkambe.

Serious water shortfall in Nkambe town(9 photos)

It's been more than two weeks now that inhabitants of Nkambe, Donga Mantung Division have been battling for clean water. Though an old problem here, city dwellers have blamed SNEC for being heartless in the way they neglect the people of Nkambe. SNEC authorities say that there is no electricity where the water generating machines are installed while the local man seems to be familiar with such an excuse.
People have to go to far off areas in other to fetch clean water for cooking and drinking.
You can carry 'yellow water' from Chua Chua and its environs to bathe with. You can do same if you want to do laundry.
This is a local water supply tap at the Mayeye neighborhood here in Nkambe which hosts the inhabitants of Cosmos quarter, Mayeye quarter,  Queens valley, Mintor quarter and beyond. The Nkambe council recently constructed a motorable road to the area in a bit to facilitate movements to and fro the area.

As the anglophones continue their fight for change, they condemn rape and brutality by the military forces sent to areas of protests.

I killed my mother because of her high demand for sex from me – Okada rider in Ogun

33 year old commercial motorcycle rider, Segun Ogunlusi, pictured above, who was recently arrested for killing his 60 year old mother, Abimbola Ogunlusi, at their home in Ogijo area of Ogun State, today confessed to the crime, saying his mother's high demand for sex from him made him kill her and bury her corpse in a shallow grave.Ogunlusi while confessing, said that after he hacked his mother to death, he poured kerosene on her remains but later buried her when the corpse failed to catch fire."My mother kept saying if I had sex with her I would be free. On a particular Tuesday morning, when two of us were at home, she was in the kitchen, I walked up to her and stabbed in the stomach and she died. I poured kerosene on her corpse in a bid to burn her but it did not catch fire. Later, I dumped the corpse in a soak away pit,” he said

He refers to The New York Times as @failingnewyorktimes in most of his posts probably indicating that the press does not give accurate information about him.

Here in Cameroon, Mr Biya has his guys to write for him reasons why you will find a word such as ''seated''(a new word created by the presidency of La  République du Cameroun) in Mr Biya's post on Facebook. Lol
Also, you find phrases such as my wife and me, me,my etc(personification of power)

Fanfare in Nkambe as the population awaits Division 2 football

Bang Bullet FC Nkambe has qualified for Pro League,Division Two.

Bang Bullet FC of Nkambe Central subdivision, Donga Mantung Division, North West Region has qualified for the country's second category of the Professional League today after beating AS Menoua 3-1 at the Bafoussam Omnisport Stadium.
Today's result joins with the previous glory days of the team to book them a place in Division Two.
They had earlier beaten Yaounde II FC(Centre Region), AS Bethel(East Region) and drew with Victoria United(South West Region) to lead Group B with 10 points.
It's a historic promotion for the flag bearers of the North West Region.

Nude pictures of Blessing Ringnyu go viral on social media

This is the story of a young girl from Nkambe town who shares her nude photos with a supposed boyfriend and later discovers these nude on social media. In October 2016, Blessing updated her status on Facebook condemning a guy who allegedly exposed a friends nude pics on Facebook. Her stupid argument was that you share nude pics with a guy in the name of love only for you to see these pics everywhere when you break up with this guy. The same thing happened to her in December. These girls will never learn.
